In my current work process, which builds on residencies in Trieste in 2023 (AIRTrieste) and 2024 (Clanz), I focus on the rugged landscape of the carst / krst / karst in the Capitalocene. Violent human practices are stored in the landscape in the form of traces, incisions and memories: remnants of wars, extraction, trade routes. Through my sound I try to construct thread figures between human- and non-human narrations, incidents of a present, echoes of a past and a future yearning for a utopia of solidarity.

smallforms is a platform and music label for contemporary and experimental forms of music based in Vienna. smallforms seeks to support musicians whose music require an attitude of listening. The monthly concert series takes place in cooperation with the art space Chateau Rouge (Meidling) run by performer and artist Elisabeth Bakambamba Tambwe and consists of recording sessions in the afternoon and public live sets in the evening – joining forces with electronic allies, spoken word, spinning tunes or sweet stuff of pop culture that may lead to the underworld (or hell).
