Zwischen Österreich und Israel standen Dan Robert Lahiani und Adina Camhy mittels digitaler Tools in Austausch. Ihre Erkundungen führen sie unter anderem nach Mitzpe Ramon in der Negev Wüste in Israel. In einem dialogischen Prozess, von der Makro- in die Mikroebene und vom Privaten ins Politische erforschen sie die vielen Dimensionen jenes architektonischen Elements, das uns trägt: der Boden.

„Dimensions of a Floor“ war eine Work-in-Progress-Ausstellung, die im Oktober 2020 an der Artist Wall in den Art Cube Artists’ Studios in Jerusalem im Rahmen des Manofim Contemporary Art Festivals gezeigt wurde. Die Ausstellung wurde vom Österreichischen Kulturforum in Israel unterstützt. 
Im Rahmen der Jahresausstellung des Master in Critical Studies, als Teil von “Parcour”, Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien, wurden Teile der Ausstellung neu zusammengesetzt.

Für den Kurzfilm “Crater”, der sich aus dem dem Projekt “dimensions of a floor” heraus entwickelt, habe ich ein Arbeitsstipendium vom Bundesministeriums für Kunst, Kultur, öffentlichen Dienst und Sport erhalten.

Dan Robert Lahiani and Adina Camhy were in exchange between Austria and Israel by means of digital tools. Their explorations lead them, among other places, to Mitzpe Ramon in the Negev Desert in Israel. In a dialogical process, from the macro to the micro level and from the private to the political, they explore the many dimensions of that architectural element that sustains us: the floor.

“Dimensions of a Floor” was a work-in-progress exhibition shown at the Artist Wall in the Art Cube Artists’ Studios in Jerusalem in October 2020 as part of the Manofim Contemporary Art Festival. The exhibition was supported by the Austrian Cultural Forum in Israel.
Parts of the exhibition were reassembled for the annual exhibition of the Master in Critical Studies as part of “Parcour”, academy of fine arts Vienna.
